Not to forget the new 2014 Porsche 911 GT3

The styling of the latest Porsche's have lacked real direction for a couple of years now, I know it's not like them to innovate and break the mould in terms of model progression. But the only really bravery has been the lighting systems in terms of aesthetics, as they've focused on their less performance focused models, like the 'boxster' 'cayenne' and 'Panemera'; which to all accounts have been doing very well internationally. However that's  not what we fell in love with Porsche for and why Nissan and so many other brands compete with the 911 on track.

This year  at Geneva the release of the new 911 GT3 has turned some heads, I think they've made some nice decisions just have a look.
As a fairly unacquainted Porsche fan the noticeable difference for me in design are the amazing v spoke alloys, with center hub, the jutted cellular chin on the front spoiler, seemingly wider arches. gives it a more well thought out look with a lot a refining gone into it. I think vent following indicators are working well now as the liner flows down into the middle chin section.

Then there's the Rear skirt, this new dual sleek vents they've added make it look very planted and the composition of the rear against the tail lights are is very balanced. They've gone with a more assertive big spoiler, and nice contrast lower spoiler which runs flush with the curvey white body.

Now apparently they've gone with a new engine format and electronic operated steering which has a lot of raw 911 fans up in arms but i wont knock it until i hear some more reviews because the stats on performance seem very promising so far. 475hp , 0-60 mph in 3.3 secs !! and top speed of 195mph, very impressive for a sports coupe. conclusion I will dream about one.
